What the extension does

The Persona in Palette Colour App is a Chrome extension that lets a subscribed client sample a colour from any webpage (using Chrome's built-in eyedropper tool) and see whether that colour matches their personal colour season. Matching happens using a colour dataset bundled directly inside the extension — no image or webpage content is ever sent anywhere.

What we collect

The only personal information the extension handles is the email address you enter to sign in. That email is sent to our server solely to check whether it belongs to an active subscriber. We do not collect browsing history, page content, images, or any other data from the sites you visit.

How your email is used

Your email is used only to verify your subscription status and to link your Square subscription record to your account. It is stored securely in our database and is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.

Payment information

Payment is handled entirely by Square. We never see or store your card details — Square tokenizes your card and processes the charge directly. We only store the resulting subscription status.

Local storage

Your email, your selected colour season, and sign-in state are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API, so you don't have to re-enter them every time. This data stays on your device and is not accessible to other extensions or websites.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time by removing the extension or clearing its local storage from chrome://extensions. To cancel your subscription or request deletion of your account data, email persona.in.palette@gmail.com.
